Holiday Gift Ideas 2014 Part One

Tuesday, 9 December 2014
Hello Fellow Book Lovers,

Tis the season to be buying a bunch of gifts for your friends and family so I thought I would help you all today with some recommendations.

1) Yes Please by Amy Poehler

This year, why not get them a hilarious book written by someone they probably know? Amy is practically guaranteed to make them laugh at least once while reading this book.

2) Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano

Not only is this a great book, but it is very interesting and like The Hunger Games in that it's a dystopian read. If they enjoy that genre then definitely consider picking this one up for them.

3) The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

Everyone has probably heard of the Percy Jackson books and possibly already read them. And while those would make great presents, I'm going to recommend you get them The Red Pyramid instead because it is like Percy Jackson except it has Egyptian mythology and two narrators - a boy and a girl which they may enjoy more. It is also incredibly funny.

4) Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

This book is phenomenal and I highly recommend it no matter the age. (Okay, so obviously this is more fourteen plus, but adults will still (most likely) enjoy it as well.)

5) Let It Snow, My True Love Gave To Me, or Any Holiday Anothology

Tis the season to read holiday books! So celebrate and get them a holiday anthology by some of their favourite authors.

That is all I have for you today. If I think of any others, I'll be sure to let you all know!

See you all soon!
