Review of Graceling

Tuesday, 17 March 2015
Hello Fellow Book Lovers,

I love Graceling a lot. Like a lot a lot.

Book: Graceling

Author: Kristin Cashore

Publisher: Penguin

Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Adventure

Rating: 5/5 Stars

Summary: Katsa has been able to kill a man with her bare hands since she was eight - she's a Graceling, one of the rare people in her land born with an extreme skill. As niece of the king, she should be able to live a life of privilege, but Graced as she is with killing, she is forced to work as the king's thug.

When she first meets Prince Po, Graced with combat skills, Katsa has no hint of how her life is about to change.

She never expects to become Po's friend.

She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace - or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away...

Review: This is one of the main reasons I love high fantasy. Something about the way Katsa was so kick butt while still being somewhat nice to Po what so well done that I couldn't put the book down.

Kristin Cashore is so incredibly talented that there are no words in the English language that can properly describe how she makes you fall in love with the world and its characters. It is remarkable.

If you are not a fan of fantasy, you will be after reading this book.

Not only is it fast-paced, but the characters are all different and unique. You'll be left wanting a Grace of your own.

Overall, this book is perfect for anyone. Well, unless you hate fantasy with a passion.
